At Foundation Church, We Exist to:

Exalt Jesus

Equip His People

Expand His Kingdom

Exalt Jesus

We believe that through the power of the gospel mans chief end is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. Why not start now with the new life he’s given us. The first component of our mission is to lift up the name of Jesus and put him first in our lives.

“Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.” Isaiah 25:1 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” Psalm 150:6 “I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1

Equip His People

The Gospel creates change. Not just an immediate change but one that is sustainable over the long term. We are a church that is called to equip believers with tools to live free and righteous lives.

“to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭“rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands,” 2 Timothy‬ ‭1:6‬‬‬

Expand His Kingdom

The Gospel we have isn’t supposed to be kept to ourselves.  We are supposed to live and share the gospel in our spheres of influence. This is a call that all believers must engage in and the Foundation we feel especially tasked with sharing the gospel to those who do not know Jesus.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭1:8‬

Purpose

Through these actions our goal  is to become a church that sees our vision “D3” come to life. We want to Develop Dedicated Disciples. Discipleship is at  the core of our ministry and through pillars of prayer, scripture, worship, and community we engage regularly with God, and one another in hopes that our fruit will remain.

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15:16 “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭”Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” Matthew 16:24
