We declare that You are the omnipotent One, the One with whom all things are possible, and there is nothing too hard for You to do. And You love us, and You have a plan—a good plan for us, a plan to prosper us.

The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. God will enable us to ride out the storms that bring sickness, tragedy, failure, and disappointment in our lives.

Nevertheless, when we feel our strength is gone, we must— we must— depend on the Lord, because God is our ultimate strength and source of strength.

ut this exchange market I’m talking about is the one in heaven, where we are called to exchange our weakness for God’s strength.

All of us are going to need this strength training. We need it. We need the Lord. That’s why we need to wait. He is going to strengthen our hearts.

So God is the strength of your life. He’s the strength of our existence. He’s the strength of our being. He’s the strength of our actions. He’s the strength of our resources.

Dutiful means it is our obligation to obey God, just like Jesus fulfilled His duty to the Father by dying on the cross for our sin.

Because we are powerless against the wiles of the devil, to guard our hearts effectively, we must be intentional about what we allow to influence us. We must be aware of the company we keep . . .

You created us to perform the good works that You’ve prepared for us. And You’ve given us all that we need, everything that is needed, to do what You’ve called us to do.

nstead, we are to put on compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another, loving and forgiving one another as Christ has loved and forgiven us.
