The term “pour out” can mean causing a liquid to flow from a container into a cup or another vessel. It can also be used as expressing one’s feelings in an unrestrained way.

When we pour into others, God pours into us. What we receive from God through our fellowship with Jesus Christ, we are to give to others.

Then he mentioned my father — how often he prayed, “Lord, give me a mind.” Pastor Hazard said he used to wonder why my father prayed that prayer over and over again.

Whatever resolve you endeavor to walk in, know that with the help of the Holy Spirit you can do it. We have to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him.

This is where discernment must kick in. The battle is not ours — it is the Lord’s. We cannot do it on our own. We need His help…
