Chosen and Appointed to Live Life Every Day

Speaker: B. Caesar | Series: Now Behold The Lamb | Series: Focus Scripture — Galatians 2:20 (KJV)

Focus Scripture — Galatians 2:20 (KJV)

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Called — Chosen — Appointed

The scripture we are going to be reading is coming from Galatians chapter 2, verse 20. I put your name in that spot. I, ______, am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live. Yet not I, but Christ who lives in me. And the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

So CALLED — C-A-L-L-E-D — as an acronym is very simple. Very simple. Chosen and Appointed to Live Life Every Day.

Chosen

Chosen. Chosen before the foundations of the world. You were chosen by the living God. Chosen and appointed to serve in whatever area you find yourself.

You are going to live this life every day, every day, because you are chosen and you are appointed. So let’s not take it for granted.

As we step into a new era, as we step into a new year, 2026 that we are facing, and as Pastor preached last week, “Behold the Lamb of God,” Jesus is looking at you and saying, “Behold. Look at what I have done in you and through you.”

Look at you. I have called you and appointed you.

God Called You

He said:

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you…” John 15:16 (NIV)

Tell yourself, “I’m chosen.” Tell yourself, “I’m appointed.”

When we hear the word “called,” sometimes we think that’s for pastors, missionaries, evangelists, people on large platforms. But the truth is very simple and very powerful. God has called every one of us on this line today. Hit yourself on the chest and say, “God called me. God called me.”

God Is Intentional

God is intentional. He doesn’t act by accident or happenstance. He doesn’t create without purpose.

Being called means God knows your name. He knows your name. He desires your heart. He wants a yes — an unreserved yes.

Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I appointed you.

Say your name. God knows me. He knows my name.

Chosen On Purpose

Your assignment may be different. You may be called to encourage. To intercede. To sing. To serve. But you have been called and chosen.

When I think about my own life, my mother considered aborting me. She and my father went to the clinic. And God showed up. God told the doctor, “You must send her home and have this child.” And here I am today, because God chose me.

Your testimony may be different, but God chose you before the foundations of the world. So don’t take your life lightly.

Appointed

The next letter is A — Appointed. God places us exactly where we need to be.

You don’t have to be visible. You don’t have to be in the pulpit. You don’t have to be on a platform. You may be a silent intercessor. God didn’t choose you because He had nothing else to do. He gave you purpose. Right where you are. You are appointed for this moment in time.

Live

God has given us life — abundant life. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus said,

“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10 (ESV)

Say it with me, “I will live. I will live.”

Living means trusting God, making wise choices, and letting faith guide you every day. The life that I now live — I live by faith.

Every Day

The last letters are E and D — Every Day.

God’s calling isn’t just for church. It’s for home, work, school, hospitals, nursing homes, quiet moments when no one else is watching.

Every day is another opportunity to walk in God’s calling. You don’t have to get everything right. Just keep showing up.

Every day is a new opportunity because you are chosen and appointed.

Conclusion

Never forget — God has called you. Say it right now. “I am called of God.”

I am chosen. I am appointed to live life every day.

Walk confidently. Walk intentionally. Walk passionately. Because the One who called you is with you every step of the way.

CALLED — Chosen, Appointed, to Live Life Every Day.

God bless you.
